In line with ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ of Government of India, the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has established six Technology and Innovation Platforms to promote innovation in the product design and development and import reduction in the Capital Goods, Automotive and allied Sector.
The technology platform being developed by International Centre for Automotive Technology, ASPIRE (Automotive Solutions Portal for Industry, Research & Education) is offering the sponsored internships, including the project work to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students (for a period of 3-6 months).
These internships are expected to promote innovation and practical problem-solving abilities among the engineering students or freshers through hands-on working on real industry problems. Industry will be benefitted from this internship through Industry-Academia collaboration.
Industry can suggest the Project Topics and Relevant Problem Statements (related to development of any automotive product, component, system/sub-system, manufacturing process/equipment, quality issue/product improvement, aftersales/warranty issues or new emerging requirements) to be resolved through this Internship program.
The confidentiality of the Project will be taken care through Non-Disclosure Agreement of the Student-Mentor working on the respective Project. Stipend for the student for doing the project will be borne by ICAT, Manesar.
