In line with ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ of Government of India, the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) has established six Technology and Innovation Platforms. The objective of these platforms is to promote innovation in the product design and development with objective of import reduction in the Capital Goods, Automotive and allied Sectors.
The technology platform being developed by International Centre for Automotive Technology, ASPIRE (Automotive Solutions Portal for Industry, Research & Education) is offering the sponsored internships, including the project work to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students (for a period of 3-6 months).
These internships are expected to promote innovation and practical problem-solving abilities among the engineering students or freshers through hands-on working on real industry problems.
Mentorship Criterion:
Professionals from Industry / Research Organization / Academia with minimum 10 Years domain year_of_experience (with graduation in engineering as minimum qualification).
Superannuated professionals from Industry / Research Organization / Academia.
Expected commitment of Mentors:
4-5 hours per week time for guiding students for Projects under Internship program.
Monitoring & reporting the progress of project.
Mentoring for 2-3 Projects with 4-5 students per Project.
