ICAT is equipped with state-of –the art Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab capable of doing all kinds of EMC/EMI Compliance tests as per Indian and Global standards. ”Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan”, which translates to 'self-reliant India' or 'self-sufficient India', is the vision of the Prime Minister of India of making India "a bigger and more important part of the global economy". Auto industry, which imports more than Rs 1 Lac Crore worth of components is the prime focus under this scheme to reduce the imports to 50% over the next 4-5 years. In view of the above, ICAT is planning to expand its testing capabilities and facilities in the area EMC by using the equipments and technologies developed and manufactured in India to promote the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. ICAT wish to invite EOI from the interested and technically capable parties for developing indigenous RF Absorber material used in EMC Chambers.
